How many of you wake up each morning with a projection of what your business should be, what it could be doing; and you have a judgement of what you haven’t done and what hasn’t been created? I fall into that bucket. Not so much anymore, read on.

What if you were willing for anything to show up in your business? What if you did not have expectations of your business? Sounds like a tall order, right? Just try it for one day. Let’s say tomorrow you wake up and you say to yourself “ If I had no expectations and projections of my business today, what would I create, what would I choose or what would I change?” What I learned is that when I have expectations of my business, sometimes I’m not willing to make changes. I’ve noticed that in my clients, as well. It’s important to be able to make changes as required. Our business has to evolve, and change is required in order to do that. Even if it’s a massive change, such as changing some of your providers, project plans, your ideal clients, and location, etc.

When you have projections and expectations of your business, you are not willing to see what else is available to you. There are millions of possibilities for your business; you just can’t see them when you have a fixed view of your business.

I invite you to ask yourself “If I had no expectations and projections of my business today, what would I create, what would I choose or what would I change?” Share your results with me.
